Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to dog owners and ensure a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.
- Supervise and monitor the behavior of dogs in the daycare facility to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Engage in playtime activities with dogs, including interactive games, walks, and socialization.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the daycare facility, including cleaning up after dogs and sanitizing play areas.
- Administer medications or treatments to dogs as directed by their owners or veterinary staff.
- Monitor the health and well-being of dogs, reporting any concerns or issues to management or veterinary staff.
Skills:
- Passion for working with dogs and providing excellent care.
- Strong communication skills to interact with dog owners and coworkers effectively.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments confidently and safely.
- Knowledge of basic dog behavior and body language to recognize signs of stress or aggression.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
