We need companion care to take care of my mother (or mother-in-law: both daughter and son-in-law may respond to job applications) in Berea. Primary responsibilities are to support her in settling down at night, which includes changing clothes for bedtime, supporting with bathrooming, and providing soothing companionship. Experience with Alzheimer's is critical as she struggles with sundowning and agitation at night, so we need a caregiver with experience understanding the mood changes associated with Alzheimer's. One night per week (Saturday) will be overnight, 8 PM to 8 AM. Bedding and room in a smoke and pet-free new construction home provided. Other shifts are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00-11:00 PM. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
