Description:Looking for an Electrical Engineer with an interest in Power Delivery and Renewables projects to join the Power team. This individual will be a key member of a growing team and will provide day-to-day execution of electrical engineering and design work for power delivery facilities, specifically substations, solar, battery storage, and hydropower stations. Cross training between multiple power delivery projects and the ability to cross train in different areas such as substation, power generation and distribution.You’ll be given the flexibility and freedom to seek and acquire knowledge and experience in both the Protection and Control and Physical aspects of high voltage substation design.
Preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports and designs for electrical substations (Low, Medium and High Voltage)
Working with Designers and CADD Technicians to develop drawings in accordance with national design standards, safety codes and project specifications and requirements
Performing site visits during the design, construction and as-built phases of projects
