Solution Architect

Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Functional Solution Architect to join a growing construction firm in central Kentucky. This Architect will be pivotable in continuing the technology advancement within the organization and will work heavily with the business to understand needs to optimize various applications. The primary role will be to work with the business and IT leaders, so it is key for this person to be comfortable in a role business facing while having a high level technically knowledge of the organizations applications and how they interact. This organization primarily operates in Microsoft (c# .net SQL) with SaaS tools such as CMiC, Procore, Autodesk, Informatica, SharePoint, Dynamics integrated into their environment. This Architect will not be directly managing anyone but will be responsible for coaching up others in the IT department on technical issues when needed and will work directly with the business to help advise/solution technical requests and issues. Daily, this person will be meeting directly with different business units to understand how they are currently utilizing applications to identify areas of enhancement, forecast possible issues, or recommend integration of additional tools if needed. From there, the Architect will meet with IT leadership and the Developers to implement. Some parts of the organization are currently in the process of implementing scrum/agile so this person will need to be comfortable in a mixed workflow environment. This role does require to work onsite in Lexington Kentucky 2-3 days a week and has a salary expectation of 120-130k annually with possible flexibility for the right candidate.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
