Convention Moderators Needed in Lexington, KY $25/Hr

We are a National Staffing Agency looking for professional, reliable, moderators for a convention in Lexington, KY at the Central Bank Center February 9-10.

Rate: $25/Hr, W2 position paid out following work week.

Location: Central Bank Center - Lexington, KY 40507

Job Description: MUST WORK BOTH SHIFTS (Sunday and Monday, February 9 & 10) Highly professional Moderators needed to facilitate sessions for NAFDMA Convention.

1. Prior to the session, please get familiar with your meeting room assignment, times of sessions, session titles and speakers’ names.

2. Be sure to print and have your speaker introductions on-hand.

3. NAFDMA staff or the hotel tech will set-up the a/v (we are audio recording these sessions).

4. Arrive early to greet the speaker, ask them for the correct pronunciation of their name and anything else unfamiliar in their introduction, and become familiar with the room, sound, lighting, and temperature controls (if applicable).

5. Please start and end the session on-time.

6. All 2-hr sessions have a built-in 15-minute break at 60-minutes into the session. Be sure to remind the presenter of this at the start of the session and give them a 10-minute warning prior to the break.

7. At the start of the session, please use the handheld mic and read the intro that you received.

8. In rooms with large attendance, if attendees have questions for the presenter, please pass the handheld wireless mic to them so that everyone can hear them, and they are recorded clearly.

9. Give your speaker BOTH a ten-minute and five-minute warning so we end the session on-time.

10. At the end of the session, thank the speakers on behalf of NAFDMA, and make sure they remove their wireless mic (place on front table)

Schedule: 2/9 (Sun) 8a-4p and 2/10 (Mon) 8a-4p

Attire: Solid All black, business professional attire with closed toed comfortable flat shoes. No jeans, T-shirts, leggings, tank tops, midriff-baring or low-cut shirts, sandals, or high heels. A polished and professional appearance is required.

We are a W2 company.

Must be 18+

Legal to work in the US

Able to provide government issued ID (I-9 information) to work and be paid If selected to move forward, we will also need to review your IDs to complete the I-9 new hire form. A list of IDs for the I-9 can be found on the federal website: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-acceptable-documents . Please review this list and make sure to bring the appropriate IDs with you to the interview in the event we are able to extend an offer and have you join our team

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a polished and professional appearance.

Must have excellent customer services skills.

Many positions require strong typing and computer skills.

Must be able to fulfil I-9 requirements.

Must pass background check.
