Job Title: Electrical TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role involves using prints and schematics to complete point-to-point wiring on complex control cases and machines for the mining industry. You will use a voltmeter to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues and assist the mechanical assembly department with panel hookups. You will work with systems up to 4160V, making knowledge of high voltage systems essential.Responsibilities
Read prints and schematics to complete point-to-point wiring.
Perform electrical troubleshooting.
Test voltage using a voltmeter.
Assemble electrical components, including 480V, 3-phase wiring, electric motors, and electrical installations.
Assist in the mechanical assembly department with hooking up panels on mining equipment.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical wiring and schematics.
Experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Knowledge of high voltage systems, up to 4160V.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with high voltage systems or an electrical degree/license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with electrical assembly.
Mechanical assembly knowledge is a plus.
