87601BRJob Title:Weigher/Grader - Henderson, KYDepartment/Function:Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, UtilitiesJob Description:Weigher/Grader - Henderson, KYThis is an hourly non-exempt level position.Position Responsibilities:Join ADM's Evansville location and become an integral part to our daily grain operations as a Weigher/Grader. Throughout the scaling and quality grading process, you'll ensure smooth processes and deliver exceptional customer service. We're seeking a hardworking professional with strong organizational and computer skills to excel in this dynamic role.Position Responsibilities:
Assists in all areas of the loading, unloading and transferring of grain and grain products for truck, barge, rail (location specific) and inspects barges, trucks and railcars before loading.
Manage and direct the inbound and outbound truck traffic at the facility, overseeing the scaling process and grading the quality of all commodities through the HMI operator station.
Collect grain samples to assess grade, moisture content, foreign matter, toxins, and damage, then input findings into the computer system.
Possesses a strong working knowledge of safety protocols, environmental laws, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and near-miss identification.
Perform general administrative duties such as but not limited to: answering phones, filing paperwork, and data entry.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer audits, including CFIA, HACCP, AIB, and others.
Conduct laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products using wet chemistry and analytical instruments, ensuring standardized equipment and accurate recording.
Demonstrate adherence to all Quality and Food Safety programs, including GMPs, Pest Control, HACCP, SOPs, Good Laboratory Practices, and the Food Security program.
Provide accurate and timely reports to departments and customers.
Monitor and replenish chemical solutions, manage laboratory inventories, perform equipment calibrations as needed, and ensure effective operation of laboratory equipment.
Train new lab technicians/operators in required analyses.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
High school education or equivalent required.
Proficient computer skills required; prior experience with Microsoft Word and Excel data entry preferred.
Working knowledge of office equipment (copier, fax machine, etc.).
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. The shift may include 8 to 12 hours shifts on a rotational schedule.
Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), move up to 50 pounds, as well as the ability to wear a respirator.
