Serves as an ambassador ensuring patient's non-clinical needs are met. Assists patients with Radiology paperwork.Acquires all necessary patient information for ordering of multi-disciplined procedures. Assures all proper insurance and documentations are attained and recorded appropriately. Verifies ICD 10 and CPT codes for Medicare billing. If not available when patient registers, employees must contact the ordering physician and add the documentation.Communicates via a variety of methods to referring physicians, patients and other interested parties in accordance with departmental policies and following HIPPA guidelines. Answers and directs phone calls to the appropriate parties.Follow the safety steps required to perform their duties and be in compliance with medical, state and federal safety standards. They must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriately.JOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum EducationHigh School diploma or GED - requiredRequired SkillsCertifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
