The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the Electronic Rack (ER) PQA Claims. Written and oral communication is critical to this position.  The professionalism, quality and accuracy displayed in the performance of this job have a direct impact on the daily operations of the department and internal/external customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.Ensures a continuous flow of material without defects to production lines.Participate in the activities required by the plant (Focus meetings, CIP, training , meetings, etc.).Make the set -up of the components in SAP for the plant (Quality set-up, Q-info record and Inspection plan)Participate in customer audits for FleP.Promotes and supports the BPS, CIP, Deployment Policy, 5S 's, ESD audits , audits TS 16949 / ISO 9000 system.Coordinate Concessions related to external supplier components according to procedure U1.4Manages quality problems with suppliers.It is the owner of the complaint process to suppliers according to Procedure U1.2.Supports the activities of failure analysis reported by customers for supplier potential defects.Ensures troubleshooting process for suppliers issues through 8D.Ensures that suppliers use Bosch portals (SupplyOn , IQS , etc).Coordinates the sorting activities if necessary in conjunction with the Receiving Inspection personnel.Performs chargeback process for suppliers according to U1.5 procedure.Tracks the Top Suppliers (low performance).Ensures measuring components for PPAP:Ensures that there are documents required by the procedure U1.3.Verify the understanding of drawing / specification to Metrology technician.Ensures measurement homologation with suppliers if necessary.Verify that there is a PPAP or release for electronic components approved for all components.Participate in the activities of "Safe Launch" according to Procedure U1.3.
