That's why we live different, play different.The Schedule for this position will be week 1 Monday-Thursday 4:45am-4:45pm, and week 2 Tuesday-Friday 4:45AM to 4:45PM the next weekThe Input Splicer will be responsible for the movement of raw paper rolls, preparing the rolls for processing and hoisting the rolls into position on the laminator. Responsible for loading and splicing new rolls of paper into the Laminator machine. Responsible for removing used rolls of paper from the machine and maintaining machine operation documentation. This position is also responsible for removing used rolls of paper from the machine platform, removal of discarded paper and cleaning paste filters. What you’ll do as an Input Splicer:
Maintains a storage system for paper rolls
Delivers new paper rolls to the Laminator staging area based on the work requirements that day
Prepares rolls for the Laminator, and removes damaged paper from the roll
Loads raw paper onto Laminator and removes used rolls
Prepares splices to ensure continuous operation of Laminator
Periodically cleans the paste filters
Uses controls to machine into automatic splice mode or performs manual splice
Maintains production logs
Complete power equipment training and certification process and operate powered industrial trucks to transport and retrieve product
Keep work areas clean and orderly in accordance with 5S standards
Other duties as assigned
We’re looking for an Input Splicer with:Knowledge
Minimum 1 to 3 years of machine operation experience
Prior printing experience preferred
High School diploma or equivalent work experience
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Skills
Strong Mechanical aptitude
High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines
Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems
Ability to work well with others and cooperate with team members and leadership team

Physical requirements and working conditions: Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
Sitting at workstation as little as 20% of work time, standing and walking as much as 80% depending on assignment
Lift / push / pull up to 100 pounds
Ability to twist, reach, squat, and bend
Ability to reach and lift object overhead
Requires ability to reach, grasp, and manipulate objects
At least 20x40 corrected vision
Ability to pull up to 1,500 lbs. with a non-powered hand truck
Involves moderate risks or discomforts and special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, pallets, trucks and machines
