Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant in the Food & Food Processing industry, based in Kentucky, United States. This role involves a wide range of tasks, from administrative duties to managing interactions with visitors and employees. For this position, you must be bi-lingual in Spanish.Responsibilities: Oversee the initial reception duties, including managing the visitor register and badges, and ensuring the lobby area is ready for the day. Handle the plant's main telephone line, connecting callers to the correct extension or department. Welcome visitors, facilitate their sign in process, provide them with badges, and notify employees of their visitors. Sort and distribute incoming mail and courier packages to staff and arrange for outgoing courier packages/letters. Assist in the administration of payroll. Manage the Applicant Tracking process including job postings, coordination of candidates for positions, setting up candidate tours, preparing offers, and coordinating testing and on-boarding of new employees. Help prepare monthly HR and Management reports. Coordinate the ordering and distribution of uniforms and the plant shoe program. Assist with the organization of Plant events. Carry out any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager and Plant Manager.Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Benefits Coordination, ensuring smooth execution of employee benefits programs. Experience in delivering top-notch Customer Service, resolving queries and addressing concerns in a timely manner. Proven ability in handling Employee Relations, fostering a positive work environment and mediating conflicts. Proficiency in conducting Interviewing processes, screening candidates effectively for various roles. Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration, handling tasks such as record-keeping, HR reporting, and policy implementation. Fluency in Spanish Language, enabling effective communication with diverse employees and clients. Ability to provide Spanish Translation when necessary, ensuring clear and effective communication across different language speakers.
