Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Benefits Specialist to join our client's Human Resources team in the Northern Kentucky area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries. The Benefits Specialist will collaborate with HR, vendors, and other stakeholders to enhance and optimize our benefits offerings.Responsibilities:Benefits Administration:

Oversee the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other welfare benefits.

Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Employee Support:

Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries.

Provide guidance and assistance to employees on benefit plan options, coverage, and claims.

Compliance and Reporting:

Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations affecting employee benefits.

Ensure benefits programs comply with legal requirements and prepare necessary reports.

Open Enrollment:

Coordinate and facilitate annual open enrollment processes.

Communicate changes in benefits, plan options, and deadlines to employees.

Vendor Management:

Collaborate with benefits vendors to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

Review and evaluate vendor performance, recommending changes as needed.

Policy Development:

Assist in the development and communication of benefits policies and procedures.

Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to employees.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Benefits Specialist or in a similar role.

Knowledge of employee benefits programs, regulations, and best practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
