Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the construction industry, based in Northern Kentucky. This role involves processing financial documents, resolving discrepancies, and working with multiple software systems in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Efficiently handle the payment of utilities, purchase orders, check requests, and employee expense reports Liaise with employees, vendors, and utility companies to address any discrepancies via phone Utilize various software systems such as Dynamics SL, Concur, and Sapphire for various tasks Maintain a high level of accuracy when processing customer credit applications Ensure customer credit records are up-to-date and accurate Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as required Adapt quickly to changing directions in a high-volume work environment Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks requiring attention to detailRequirements Possess experience in the construction/contractor industry, preferably in an Accounts Payable role Proficiency in using Concur, SAP, Dynamics GP, and Microsoft Excel Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes Ability to handle high volume invoicing and manage multiple projects Strong organizational and time management skills for managing deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and other departments High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex AP issues Understanding of regulatory standards and compliance related to Accounts Payable Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new systems and processes.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
