Machinist 1/C Job Location: Calvert City, KY, United States Employment Type: Regular Category: Maintenance Posting Date: Mar 19, 2025 Position Overview: The Machinist 1/C will perform duties in a chemical plant environment at Arkema's Calvert City, Kentucky site. This role requires practical experience and training skills of at least five years in an industrial facility as a machinist, industrial mechanic, or equivalent craft.Key Responsibilities:
Rotating Equipment: Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining rotating equipment.
Process Equipment: Removal, installation, and maintenance of process equipment.
Tool Usage: Proper and safe use of all tools required to maintain process equipment in an industrial chemical plant.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of practical experience in an industrial facility as a machinist, industrial mechanic, or equivalent craft.
Demonstrated proficiency in rotating equipment, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Experience in process equipment removal and installation.
Strong knowledge of the proper and safe use of tools required for maintaining process equipment in a chemical plant environment.
