Job Title: Wastewater Technician Classification: Non-Exempt Department: Environmental, Health & Safety Reports to: WW ForemanPosition: Night Shift Purpose : Operate and maintain all Wastewater (Outside System and Treatment Building). Monitoring UFOs, EP Water Softeners and Cooling Towers. General Duties:
Responsible for operating and maintain the Wastewater Treatment Building and Outside System
Responsible for maintaining chemicals.
Monitor water quality compliance from UFOs, EP Wastewater Discharge and Cooling Tower
Collect data on Systems and perform specific checks
Investigate all issues and determine root cause of failure
Perform periodic replacements as needed
Report findings to Engineering when necessary
Provide detailed pass downs to the incoming shift
Help in maintaining inventory for department to perform accurate repairs.
Maintain good safe working practices.
Organize and maintain work areas for a good 5S.
Perform all duties necessary in creating an efficient, effective, and affordable Wastewater department.
Will perform other functions as required

Requirements :
1 Year Industrial Maintenance experience
Minimum of 1-year experience in Wastewater systems
High School Diploma or GED required
2-year college degree (preferred)
