The Clinical Supervisor will also be responsible for correspondence to clinical staff regarding paperwork documentation best practices. ResponsibilitiesSupports the mission, vision, and philosophy of StepStone and complies willingly with all organizational policies and proceduresAssists in the development of the client care programs and staff quality training programs to implement creation, implementation, and monitoring of various evidenced based programs for clients receiving servicesThis also includes the support of these therapeutic services to ensure the highest quality of service deliveryFacilitates and supports the design and implementation of all organizational policies and proceduresSupports all functions that attain and maintain accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies including the monitoring of these systems and services provided to ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations, to include participation in various monitoring/oversight committees and the completion of program auditsReports (and if possible, provides intervention for) incidents of abuse or potential abuse involving c hildren to the Program Director, Executive Director and when necessary, the National Treatment DirectorOversees treatment teams and guides group consultations monthly or as often as necessary with the teamReviews critical incidences and feedback to staffProvides guidance, support and follows all policy and procedure to promote placement disruption, including attending DCBS Facilitated Staffing'sSupports and facilitates positive interaction with others by exhibiting:Trauma Informed Care Approach and Knowledge Individual maturityRespect for othersA team-centered approachMaintenance of confidential informationAn awareness and sensitivity to cultural and other differences with youth, families and staffAdherence to ethical and legal standardsParticipates in appropriate professional development programs to attain and maintain competencyResponsible for oversight of treatment team consultationReviews and adheres all functions related to assessment, treatment planning and therapy interventions conducted by therapy and case management staff from a trauma informed care best practice perspectiveFollows all TFC State regulations and adherence of the Department of Community Based Services Child Placing ContractEnsures therapeutic needs of the client are met. Rotating on-call responsibilities for weekends and following of afterhours clinical decision treeSupports delivering services throughout the designated areas as needed to ensure the highest quality of trauma informed care service delivery including therapeutic oversight and monitoring of program(s) and quality improvement planningAssists in the development of the client care programs and staff quality training programs to implement creation, implementation, and monitoring of various interventions for clients receiving services Coordinates the review, investigation, and resolution of client complaints/grievances in regard to services and notify appropriate parties of outcomes while instituting any corrective action plans Supervises the therapy staff and provide coaching and corrective actions plans when necessaryEnsures staff training requirements are met and fulfill all requirements as they relate to policy and procedure, state regulations, contract requirements and Company staff training protocols when necessary.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMaster's Degree in Human Services with the ability to provide mental health therapyExperience in auditing and contract compliance Three or more years' experience working with families and c hildren Provisionally or fully licensed as a BHP or BHPUS Ability to travel between facilities About our Line of BusinessStepStone Family and Youth Services provides the full spectrum of support to c hildren in need of alternative, safer and more positive living environments with residential and family services.
