Contract (Six Months)
Day Shift (Monda to Friday, 8 hour shift)
$28.00- 33.00 an hour
The Onsite Safety Coordinator is responsible for enforcing work place safety, health and environmental policies. This role oversees leads, directs and enforces safety and work practices on construction projects to identify, eliminate and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage using job specific safety standards, best management practices and injury free environment techniques.

Qualifications
Valid driver's license
1+ years Safety Management Experience
Pre-Employment Screening
OSHA 30
Experience in construction industry is plus
Bilingual is plus
Responsibilities
Make decisions related to work stoppage when circumstances are related to an immediate danger to life and health on a project
Recommend and implement corrective action based on policies, guidelines and procedures
Communicate with project staff with resolving field safety issues
Enforce safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with all State, Federal, Local regulations, and owner/contractual requirements
Educate and advise project staff on safety guidelines and policies
Takes measures and implements the overall site safety program as required and all applicable safety codes and regulations
Conduct training and safety meetings
Evaluate need for training and make recommendations
Conduct safety audits
