Job Title: CAD EngineerJob DescriptionAs a CAD Engineer, you will support installations, new launches, and special/capital projects in collaboration with project management. The role involves reducing cycle times, addressing quality and customer concerns, and executing engineering strategies under management's direction. You will develop priorities and objectives with each site management team and oversee their implementation. This position involves 80% office work and 20% floor work.Responsibilities
Support installations, new launches, and special/capital projects.
Reduce cycle times and address quality and customer concerns.
Execute engineering strategies under management's direction.
Develop priorities and objectives with site management teams and oversee implementation.
Perform CAD layout and updates.
Manage new lines moves and installations.
Develop new tooling for line consolidation.
Enhance preventative maintenance and work plans/instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology, or equivalent experience (5+ years if no engineering degree).
Experience within automotive manufacturing engineering.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times.
Understanding of Solidworks or a similar design software.
