They provide complete oversight of the management of programs and activities in their respected divisionProvide leadership to the treatment team and officeAssures files are current and completeResponsible to see that agency procedures and policies are followedResponsible for divisional oversight of risk managementHandle complaints from the community, and other agencies as the need arisesMaintain client count as outlined in the budget. (Adjust where necessary to account for discharges)Responsible to ensure that treatment services are provided in accordance with the client's planThe director is the individual responsible for the day-to-day functions of the unit; maintaining fiscally sound decisions on spending, identify potential areas of liability and address themAssist Executive Director and Business Manager in contract compliance and oversightProvide services that respect each child's and family's cultural background, heritage and identityAttendance is an essential function of the jobOther job-related duties may be assignedQualificationsThe employee should have a working knowledge and understanding of culture and its function in human behavior and societyThe employee shall deliver services that are sensitive to client's culturesThe employee shall demonstrate the ability to forge a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families in which they are helped to gain the skills and confidence to address any issues and problems they faceConviction about the capacity of people to grow and changeAbility to work in partnership with other team membersAbility to set limits and maintain the helping role and to intervene appropriately to meet the needs of the persons served or other family membersAn ability to understand and assist with the role changes that occur in foster and kinship careA commitment to a child's right to belong to a familyA commitment to preserving, whenever possible, a child's connection to the family of originA commitment to reunifying a child with his/her biological family, whenever possibleA valid professional license in the field.
