Haysville Rental Center is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for Construction Equipment to join our growing Tool & Equipment Rental team. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, motivated, and a self-starter that is customer oriented. Some of the desired traits are as follows:
3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
Experience with diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment
Knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulic and Diesel systems and troubleshooting skills
Strong mechanic background of various engines
Positive customer relations and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and flexibility under fast-paced environment
Maintain a positive attitude under demanding conditions
Strong mechanical aptitude
Familiar with tools and construction equipment
Windows based computer skills
Responsibilities:
Determine/troubleshoot equipment systems and perform repairs
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work environment
Assist with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts
Service, maintain, clean, and perform maintenance requirements on equipment
Maintain cleanliness of work environment
Load and unload, and secure equipment
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Ability to read and follow instructions, and communicate effectively
Must be able to physically perform in a construction equipment environment
Required to stand for long periods of time
Compensation will be commensurate with level of experience
