Business Applications Manager Information Systems
Job Label:BMC - Business Application Manager
Bunting is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Business ApplicationsManager. The person will be responsible for supporting the Epicor ERP system as well as all other database applications collectively known as Information Systems
Up to a $5,000 signing bonus (guidelines apply)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports all locations with Epicor ERP system as well as all other database applications.
High level of computer programming knowledge and skill, and the ability to adapt with changing programs and IT needs.
Assist in our continuous improvement efforts by working with operations to ensure that we utilize our information systems in the most efficient manner possible.
As the industry-leading manufacturer of magnetic technology products, Bunting has developed precision magnetic products for the worldwide printing, automotive, plastics, food, electronics, pharmaceutical and recycling industries for more than 50 years. Our family-owned group of companies manufactures products which serve global markets and include a broad range of magnetic materials and components, magnetic separation systems, material handling equipment, metal detection equipment, magnetic cylinders, bonded magnets, and assemblies.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science or related field/experience
5+ years ERP experience preferably within a manufacturing/distribution environment.
5+ years’ experience with systems integration design techniques and best practices.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of software development life cycle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Working knowledge of the principles and practices for Computer Programming, Information Systems Analysis, and multi-user relational databases such as SQL.
Systems implementation skills, including requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support.
Knowledge of cloud computing, databases, digital certificates, e-commerce, security, APIs, system integration, mobile apps.
Competence in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows.
