Property Maintenance Technician
Pay: $13.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
Job Type: Full-Time (some part-time availability may be considered)
Job Summary
The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing daily work orders, unit make-readies, and grounds upkeep at assigned communities. This position reports to the Supervisor each morning for daily planning and each evening for progress review. The technician will maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and vendors while ensuring all work is completed to company standards.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
Complete make-readies according to company standards and deadlines provided by the Property Manager/Assistant Property Manager.
Submit make-ready checklists upon completion.
Complete all work orders within 24 hours, including documentation and photos via company software.
Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal property upkeep.
Maintain property grounds and pool (summer months).
Stay within assigned maintenance and repair budget.
Participate in weekly/monthly on-call rotations for after-hours emergencies.
Lift and carry objects weighing over 50 lbs.
Follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and communicate effectively.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Preferred but not required)
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ year of maintenance experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
HVAC Certification.
Ability to pass a background check.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
On-call rotation
Weekend availability as needed
