Qualifications
We are looking for people who are passionate about our mission, meet our needs and possess an ability to treat all people with respect, compassion, and empathy
A pleasant attitude and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Creativity and initiative to follow through on projects
A strong desire to help people and enthusiasm to work in a multi-cultural setting
Board Members, when working remotely, will have access to a computer and must be willing to comply with SHI acceptable use policy including security protocols for personal devices
Position
Develop resources and communicate with community partners and the SHI community about events and new opportunities within our network through an email newsletter and social media
Assist with other Resource Development needs on an as needed basis, including donation management, external communications, and fundraising
Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and special staff development programs. It will only take a few hours of your time each week.
