We are now hiring an assistant cook for our commercial kitchen and warehouse. This is a high volume production environment and you must have a high sense of urgency. Knowledge of food safety processes and protocols is required.
Responsibilities:
Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Receive and put away orders from vendors.
Assist with the production and packaging of our food products.
Clean and sanitize warehouse, kitchen and bathrooms.
Wash dishes, break down, and clean commercial equipment.
You may be asked to perform other duties, as the kitchen supervisor deems necessary.
Requirements:
Experience working in a commercial kitchen or related experience preferred.
Must be able to perform physical tasks and lift over 50 pounds repeatedly.
Understand and practice safe food handling, food storage and sanitation.
Ability to multi-task.
Competent in following recipes, procedures and guidelines.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Driver's license and good driving record preferred, but not required.
