Your success is our success.DescriptionJob Summary:To fabricate a variety of production parts using fiberglass, plastic, or other materials as necessary. Maybe required to assist higher grade operators.Job Responsibilities:

Works from shop routings, oral and written instructions, and established shop practices to plan

and perform fabrication sequences from plastic and/or fiberglass parts.

Operates power equipment such as saws, routers, sanders, drills, and buffers.

Uses simple hand tools and some measuring instruments such as a scale, micrometer, and

caliper.

Maintains shop records and assures production parts are fabricated according to production

schedules.

Assures adequate supply of bonding agents, plastic and/or fiberglass parts and other required

production items by notifying supervision when reorder is necessary.

Responsible only for own work.

Performs other duties as required.

QualificationsEducation:Requires a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.Experience:No experience required.Working Conditions:Somewhat disagreeable working conditions due to intermittent exposure to heat, fumes, and dust.Kansas Tax Credit:Join Textron Aviation’s Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
