Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleThe Leadership Development Senior Manager is a strategic role that integrates the company's core values into the fabric of its leadership development and executive onboarding processes. It is a dynamic role that requires a visionary approach to aligning talent strategies with business objectives, fostering a culture of clarity, courage, growth mindset, customer obsession, and allyship.The individual will play a key role in driving organizational transformation through the design and execution of leadership development initiatives and talent planning processes. This role will support the leadership team in embodying and promoting the values that drive Lumen’s progress.LocationThis is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. with potential for minimal travel (5-10%).The Main Responsibilities

Design and implement a tailored onboarding program for new executives, ensuring access to necessary tools and resources within the first 90 days.

Manage executive leadership development activities, including project management, external partnerships, communications, and data analysis.

Establish a feedback loop for executive input on onboarding and development experiences, making adjustments as needed.

Develop and implement an assessment strategy for leaders, coordinating with external providers and administering internal assessments (KF360, DiSC, etc.).

Collaborate with People Culture Managers, People Strategists, HR Centers of Excellence, and Business Leaders to understand talent needs and align leadership development strategies with organizational priorities that drive culture and business transformation.

Implement leadership development initiatives and training to enhance the skills and performance of People Leaders.

Own the design and execution of SLT Talent Planning and Succession processes, integrating Critical Value Role framework for future talent planning.

What We Look For in a CandidateRequired Qualifications:

8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years related experience with a master’s degree, in leadership development, talent management, or related field.

Experience with 360 feedback surveys and knowledge of other common psychometric assessment instruments, including debriefing assessment feedback and coaching for development.

Prior experience in executive onboarding, executive coaching, leadership development, and senior level talent planning.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze and interpret data and leverage insights to inform critical decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with executives and senior leadership.

Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Organization Development, I/O Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related field.

A commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on industry trends in leadership development, executive development, and talent management.

CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
