Description Bring your accounting experience and know-how to a dynamic, growing team at Robert Half, now seeking a permanent Senior Accountant in the Shawnee, Kansas area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP Requirements
Month end closings experience desired
Inventory Accounting experience
Strong familiarity with Full Cycle Accounting
General ledger experience required
Experience with ERP systems
3+ years of overall general accounting experience
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance prefered
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload
Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
