Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with expertise in diagnosing and fixing various vehicle issues. This role requires proficiency in working with automotive electrical systems, diesel engine repair, and the ability to interpret schematics. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are safe and reliable.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a full variety of vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
Utilize power tools and equipment effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
Balance and align wheels, turn brakes, AC repairs, and perform other specialized services as needed.
Provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs to customers.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, and schematics interpretation.
Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
Ability to work effectively with power tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.
