Timpte is looking for a Development & Validation Manager to join our R&D Engineering Department in David City, NE! This position will be responsible for supporting Timpte’s Product Development and Validation efforts. Outcome is to confirm the products function according to specifications including reliability, performance, and industry standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Managing a team of Technicians to develop product, create testing plans, validate systems, and validate complete trailers.
Develop test and validation processes to ensure changes to products are appropriately tested and validated.
Work with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure validation issues are resolved in a timely manner and in advance of production start.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel to ensure validation issues are resolved in a timely manner and in advance of production start.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
B.S in engineering or related job experience
Minimum 5 years testing / validation experience, previous leadership experience desired
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with data collection and data processing
Knowledge of reliability and quality systems tools desired
