Do you want to work for the predominant Ag Retailer in the area?  Do you want to be able to confidently make recommendations to growers knowing that you have the best team and technology behind you?  This is a premier position and you are the face of the company when talking to growers.  As a Key Account Manager you are the person customer comes to for guidance and they will be counting on your agronomic knowledge to keep their yields high year after year. Duties & Responsibilities:Develop an intimate understanding of the customer's business and develop strategies of partnering with customers to help grow their business.Engage and maintain relationships with team members that allow for the delivery of value added service in order to postilion as the customer's desired retailer.Develop innovative solutions for customers that not only support products and services, but lead to improving our current offerings.Follow company sales strategy and executionWork with locations to ensure successful and timely delivery of products / service to customers according to their specifications.Generate sales for the company according to specified targets.Listen to customers to gain an understanding of their needsIdentify key influencers and decision-makers within the customer relationship and develop a plan of action to deepen the relationship with those people.Utilize sales technology effectively to track progress, update sales goals and track results.Assist in developing company's marketing strategy and also ensure its execution.Manage complaints and conflicts with customers effectively.Work with fellow employees in the region to meet customer needs and expectations and provide excellent customer service.Demonstrate good relationship building skillsResponsible for contributing as a strong team member and working to grow sales within assigned area.Forecast key account metrics.
