SummaryThe Project Analyst manages a wide variety of moderately complex activities in support of project or program planning. Performs detailed analysis and interpretation of moderately complex data from various business systems or external data sources. Assists in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting activities, and special projects as assigned. May mentor lower-level analysts. Duties and ResponsibilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)Ability to identify and make recommendations for resolution of project related problems utilizing analytical skills. Demonstrated oral and written communications skills; ability to effectively interface and build strong relationships with internal and external customers.Demonstrated skills in organization and problem solving.Detail oriented; possess professional presence, maturity and judgment You Must HaveBachelor degree preferred with 2-4 years of experience in a directly related field or 4+ years of directly related experience required in lieu of Bachelor degree We ValueUtilizes discretion and analysis in developing, maintaining, and facilitating project plans.Reports status of project plans and, if necessary, develops and presents appropriate action plans.Work on multiple projects concurrently, often with competing priority levelsAssists in developing, implementing, and/or negotiating changes to project plans with internal and external customers to assure schedules are met.Acts as FM&T point-of-contact for internal and external customer projects as assignedAssists in the development of innovations in departmental systems and functionsConducts routine and special studies which involve compiling data, analyzing results, preparing and maintaining documentation, and proposing and implementing recommendationsMay compile, coordinate, monitor, and maintain financial and budgeting reportsProvides assistance and coordinates with Project Analysts performing related dutiesAnalyze data and perform trend analysis and communicate the data variancesUtilizes discretion and analysis in developing, maintaining and facilitating project plans May mentor lower-level analystsMay perform other duties as assigned.
