You may be required to support other procurement duties and will receive direct supervision.Key Responsibilities
Completes Expediting activities in support of an assigned project, within established schedules .
Learns and becomes proficient in the basic functions of the expediting tools used to track vendor performance and deliverables
Coordinates the tracking process through appropriate communications with the project and supply chain, and collaborates with engineering and material receiving regarding tracked submittals and equipment status .
Prepares status reports, as assigned
May receive, organize and upload equipment shipping details to field material receiving system, or coordinates this information with the field for upload
Understands basic Expediting terminology
Understands how Expediting activities are relevant in a project environment
Begin to understand production schedules and progress reports from Vendors to determine if their processes and work progress meets job requirements
Files appropriate record documents and follows Corporate and project filing rules
May be required to calculate, track and maintain liquidated damage (or other, as required) positions, following contracted agreed articles
May attend shop visits under the guidance of a more senior Expediter to understand workflows and manufacturing techniques
Minimum QualificationsMinimum of one (1) year relevant experience without a degree. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Preferred Qualifications
BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field (preferred)
Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree
