Claims Specialist I, Auto114768Zurich is currently hiring a Claims Specialists I to join their Auto Claims Team. This is a great opportunity to advance your career in claims by interpreting, investigating, and evaluating auto policies and coverage issues, as well as claims handling and best practices. At this level, you will manage auto liability property damage and comparative negligence losses. This position will handle both comprehensive/collision and auto liability property damage claims. You will own your assigned claims from end to end, resolving claims according to best practices. The candidate selected for this opportunity should be able to report into the following North American Claims office(s): Atlanta, GA; Addison, TX; Schaumburg, IL; Rocky Hill, CT; Parsippany, NJ; Overland Park, KS; Omaha, NE; Gold River, CABasic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR

Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 1 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR

Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree with 2 or more years of experience in the Claims Handling or Insurance areaAND

Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)

Customer service experience

Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products

Preferred Qualifications:

Insurance industry, terminology

Analytical and organizational skills

Ability to multi-task

Strong communication skills

Adapt to a changing environment

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
