Sr. Customer Quality EngineerAs a Sr. Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability for our products and processes. You will be responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives, conducting thorough inspections and tests, and implementing quality control measures. Your expertise in quality engineering and problem-solving skills will contribute to the success of our organization.You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work onsite out of our Olathe, Kansas location.In this role, you will impact the overall quality and success of our products by leading quality improvement projects and implementing robust quality control processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, analyze data, and implement corrective actions. Your role will also involve conducting audits, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead quality improvement projects and initiatives
Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
Analyze data and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
Provide technical guidance and support to ensure product quality and reliability
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Coordinate response to customer and supplier rejections, including containment and formal root cause investigation and corrective/preventative action implementation.
Reviewing and analyzing project and customer requirements, and assisting project teams in tailoring and using company procedures, methods, templates and tools.
Establishing verification and validation processes for the inspection and acceptance of hardware, software, and data deliverables

Bachelor Degree
Some Experience with ISO regulations (such as AS9100 / AS9102 / TS16949 / NADCAP / AS 9145)
WE VALUE
Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
Experience in product and process failure analysis and an understanding of quality principles (APQP, SPC, TQM, MSA, MRB etc.)
ASQ Certifications: CQE, CQI, CMQ/OE or CSSBB
AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
Ability to perform statistical process control input and interpret statistical data
Previous experience with FAA, CAA, EASA
Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Understanding of project management and/or process improvement methodologies, preferably in the aerospace industry
