TEKsystems is searching for a network engineer that is proficient with route/switch, palo alto, load balancers, and Cisco. This individual must have required network experience and will be a crucial piece for this organization. The company is going through changes their infrastructure and is looking for an experienced network engineer.
Description:TEKsystems is looking for a network engineer to support a global company local to the Kansas City area. This person will be the main point of contact for all of the network throughout America. Will be responsible for expanding the network into new distribution centers and handling any high level issues that arise. o Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networkso Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCPo Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installationo Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and securityo Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshootingo Arranging scheduled upgradeso Investigating faults in the networko Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releaseso Reporting network status to key stakeholdersSkills:cisco routers, paloalto, load balancing, Network Engineering, Cisco Asa Firewalls, palo altoTop Skills Details:1)Cisco route switch2) F5 load balancers3) Palo AltoAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Successful Candidates will possess the following attributes:• Exudes enthusiasm for mission, vision, and core values• Dependability and flexibility when necessary• An analytical mind• An ability to learn new technologies quickly• Good time management skills• An ability to follow processes• Strong documentation skills• Good communication skills - both written and verbal• Commercial and business awarenessExperience Level:Expert Level About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
