We are looking for individual (s) to aid in refurbishing and maintaining residential rental units and grounds for three manufactured home communities in Hays KS. You would be responsible for routine and emergency maintenance, repair, upkeep and turnover of approx. 60 units and associated grounds. All homes are located in small parks within a 2 mile radius of each other. You will work in conjunction with other staff, a leasing agent, as well as directly with the owner/operators.
Required Qualifications
Consistently reliable
Ability to perform manual/hard labor (replacing toilets, appliances, etc)
Ability to work independently and with others
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Availability for emergencies on an on-call basis, seasonal snow removal, groundskeeping
Proficient with hand tools
Professional demeanor
At least 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, general construction/trades, HVAC, handyman or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities
Respond promptly to tenant repair requests
Routine HVAC filter changes/ leak detection inspection
Oversee special projects, seasonal staff
Perform or coordinate seasonal staff for mowing/ groundskeeping/ snow removal
Refurbish and prepare vacated units for new tenants
Be on-call for emergency repair requests / occasional snow removal
