Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 15529 College Blvd., Lenexa, KS.We offer weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the intake of members or the admission / discharge information post notification.

Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and / or providers.

Manage the referral process, processing incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification, and census roles.

Provide appropriate triage and care coordination notification cases for non - clinical assessment / intervention.

Handle resolution / inquiries from members and / or providers

The challenge here lies in managing a full range of tasks, many of them routine in nature, without sacrificing quality. High School Diploma / GED

2+ years of customer service experience

Experience with Microsoft Word (create and edit correspondence), Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, and sort spreadsheets, basic analytical formulas (v-lookup, if)), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)

Ability to work any full-time (40 hours / week), 8-hour shift between the hours of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST from Monday - Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need

Must be 18 years of age OR older

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with working in a call center

Knowledge of ICD - 9 and CPT codes

A clerical OR administrative support background

Experience with working in a hospital, physician's office, OR medical clinic setting

Experience with working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance

Soft Skills:

Must be able to type and talk at the same time and navigate through multiple screens
