Help Desk Technician

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily IT tasks to provide Level-1 technical support for hardware and software users.
  • Support O365.
  • Perform general administration duties for the Server/Network Infrastructure.
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance either in-person, over-the-phone, or electronically.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Identify and escalate situations that require urgent attention.
  • Document and track support tickets.
  • Create Active Directory accounts/rights and make changes as needed.
  • Install and troubleshoot Ethernet cabling.
  • Monitor Network health, escalate issues as needed.
  • Audit and manage backup tapes.
  • Prepare and deploy hardware and software for end users.

Requirements
  • 2 years of Help Desk experience.
  • Computer Information Systems technical training or equivalent experience.
This is a 12-month Contract with TriCom's Lenexa, KS client. H1-B Visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity. No third-parties, please.
