Description
PEP SH Management, LLC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a class A student housing project, consisting of 720 beds and 192 units, located in Lawrence, Kansas.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following tasks:
Installing equipment and maintaining all rental units, property and facilities
Performing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, troubleshooting, etc. skills as required
Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs
Assisting in all turnover activities (inspections, cleaning, painting, etc.)
Ensuring that work order response time and service levels are to highest standards
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for working directly and efficiently with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize and schedule work orders. Prior experience in the student housing industry is preferred. Exceptional people skills and providing an excellent level of customer service is required while conducting business with tenants and vendors in person, on the phone, and via e-mail.
Education
Experience with a student housing asset and minimum 2 years prior experience utilizing property management software. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. EOE, Drug Free Workplace.
