Process Piping Designer III

CRB is seeking a skilled Piping Designer III to join our team and contribute to innovative, high-impact projects. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver coordinated, constructible, and complete piping designs. You’ll work under the guidance of a registered Mechanical Engineer and the project’s Engineer-of-Record, supporting all phases of design from concept through construction.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.Lead piping design efforts, including early conceptual planning, utility room layouts, piping material selection, and space allocation for piping racks.Develop detailed design deliverables such as pipe routing plans, 3D models of piping and utility equipment, annotated piping plans, and piping details.Apply CRB’s VDC standards to modeling and documentation.Support all phases of design: feasibility, scope development, detailed design, construction documentation, and administration.Perform independent design work and assist with redline markups and reviews.Conduct field investigations and provide construction support as needed (travel <25%).
