The Human Resources Manager plans, organizes and executes HR functions for the Shared Service and across Business Unit Employees. A self-starter, and someone who is equally comfortable leading the Strategic HR Objectives, as well as delivering the day to day generalist tasks that are needed to keep the business moving. We are looking for talent that gets excited about helping the HR function evolve and improve. This Manager is someone who is flexible, adaptable, and solutions focused and will be supporting two locations. This position will be hybrid (after initial competency requirement) and will office in either the Kansas City metropolitan area, or Delta/Toledo, Ohio area. The Manager deploys HR processes, policies, and practices that align with the goals of the business as well as the performance management process, while achieving employment alignment and engagement.  They function as a change agent, reviewing and challenging the culture and capability of the business and also identify risks and non-compliance and address these issues with ethics and integrity.Primary duties and responsibilities include:Develop and implement recruiting and staffing plans to ensure improved selection, diversity, and retention outcomesFacilitate and provide support for performance management and change managementDevelop, recommend, and deploy Human Resources policies and proceduresCounsel and coach supervisors and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and all aspects of employment lawPerform benefits administration and counselingAdminister salary and incentive plansBuild organization capability by providing training and support for employees and managers, including career and professional developmentDevelop and administer effective plans, which drive alignment with Our Purpose and Our Bond, and target employee engagement, communication, and recognitionEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
