Position Overview:The High School Tutor is responsible for providing personalized academic support to students in grades 9-12 in the specific content area (Math, English, Science, History). This role aims to enhance students’ understanding and mastery of course material, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages academic growth and confidence.Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized and small group tutoring sessions in content area (Math, English, Science, History) to reinforce classroom learning.Assess students' academic needs and develop targeted lesson plans to address learning gaps.Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring with instructional goals and curriculum.Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and participation.Track and report on student progress, making adjustments to tutoring strategies as necessary.Assist in the development of instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
