1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pmSummary of Responsibilities:Routinely utilizes quality standards as established by Quality department to inspect parts, products and/or processes to ensure compliance. Confers with management, and value streams in resolution of defective parts or products. Works with QA personnel regarding corrective and preventive actions. Conducts routine audits and process capability reviews under supervision. Processes defective internal and supplier parts and assemblies as required.Essential Duties:
Inspects and tests incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications, using fixed or pre-set measuring instruments. Compares assembled products with list or sample model is already established to ensure completion of assembly, paint quality, and overall appearance to assure aesthetic appeal. (Approx. 75%)
Works with various internal departments and supplier representatives to communicate non-conformities and suggest improvements or remedies. Works with Production supervisors to approve re-worked products. Works with Quality Assurance Engineers, Quality Control Techs and Leads, and Value Stream personnel for implementing corrective actions. (Approx. 15%)
Inspects periodic samples of in-process fabricated parts to print specifications and for blemishes and defects. Inspects welded assemblies to print specifications and for weld quality. Works with inspection equipment such as fixed gauges, templates, micrometer, height gauge, dial indicator, and portable coordinate measuring machine. Rejects defective parts and notifies department supervisor or supplier of rejected parts status. (Approx. 10%)

High School /GED diploma required
Experience:
Minimum of one to two years of work experience in Quality or Production environment.
Required Skills:
Ability to utilize Engineering and Quality standards
Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Preferred Skills:
Fabrication, assembly and welding skills
Blueprint reading
Use of measurement tools & equipment (calipers, micrometer, etc.)
Forklift skills
