Autism Specialist AKA Board Certified Behavior Analyst Kansas Behavior Supports/Behavior Solutions,a leading provider of in-home ABA services, actively seeks alicensedBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Autism Specialistto join our team! TheBCBAis an integral member of our clinical staff and is responsible to:
Provide initial and/or continuing in-home client (re)assessments
Plan, manage and evaluate assigned staff efforts to properly address behavioral excesses and deficits by building functional skill repertoires
Supervise ongoing ABA programs, assess the performance of programs, and adjust as necessary
Provide ABA training for parents and other caregivers
Assume overall direction and supervision of Paraprofessionals
Manage electronic data regarding the client’s progress using our Catalyst program
Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in ABA or related field, i.e., Special Ed., Child Psych, Psychology, Social Work
Two day course for Autism Specialist Certificate.
Familiarity and ability to administer and interpret a variety of clinical assessments (VBMAPP, AFLS, ABLLS, ADOS-2, etc.)
Display excellent clinical competence and judgment; the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Ability to train and supervise Paraprofessionalsin the delivery of 1:1 ABA services
Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with parents and other caregivers
Respect for cultural diversity and capability of adapting ABA procedures to that diversity
Excellent written and verbal skills; detail-oriented
Strong leadership and management capabilities
Willingness to accept feedbackandremedy any identified deficits
