Job DescriptionWoodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking a Resident Treatment Technician (RTT) to join our team.The mission of Woodward Resource Center is to prepare and support individuals to live in the community of their choice. Discharge planning begins at admission.As part of the WRC team:

Work as assigned by Vocational Supervisor and Activity Specialists in the Vocational and Activity Program areas, providing on-going training for Individuals and staff. Instructs, leads, directs, and monitors work tasks for Individuals to ensure quality work. Serves as a lead staff to guide and mentor Resident Treatment Workers in supporting the work of the Individuals.

Order supplies and equipment as needed. Work in a variety of work/activity areas as needed. Serve as part of the IDT to recognize Individual's preference and identify supports needed. Give input on supports needed to enhance Individual skills in vocational, social, and in other related areas. Ensure documentation is completed as required.

Assist at houses as needed following all ICF/ID regulations and WRC policies. Working within both teams and get assignments for the day.

Administer treatment, medications to Individual as prescribed as trained. Follow heath care policies/procedures.

Escort Individuals to and from day programming, leisure activities and appointments: walk at a normal pace between buildings 1/4 mile apart several times a day, while supervising intellectually disabled Individuals and push/maneuver adult-sized wheelchairs.

Other duties as assigned.
