Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking to hire a Lead Release Manager to join one of our top clients in Des Moines. This large Financial and Insurance company is growing quickly and has several large initiatives. This candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: Strategy Development:o Lead the development and execution of the release management strategy for the Enterprise Data team.o Ensure alignment of the release strategy with enterprise-wide standards, including CI/CD and DevOps best practices.o Collaborate with stakeholders to define release policies, procedures, and standards across various technologies. Environment Management:o Define, set up, and maintain comprehensive integration environments for non-production and production stages.o Manage environments across various technologies such as Mulesoft, Kafka, PowerCenter, Java, Snowflake, and MS Studio.o Ensure environment readiness and stability to support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment. Release Process Standardization:o Support and standardize the release process, ensuring consistency and compliance with enterprise standards.o Implement and manage automated release processes using CI/CD tools.o Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline release cycles and improve deployment efficiency. Collaboration & Support:o Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of release management practices.o Provide expert guidance and support to development teams on best practices for release and environment management.o Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to environments and release processes. Continuous Improvement:o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of release management.o Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously evolve and optimize release strategies.$45/hr to $50/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools. Hands-on experience with technologies such as Mulesoft, Kafka, PowerCenter, Snowflake, and Microsoft Studio. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
