The Financial Crimes Director - Head Financial Crimes Data Integrity, plays a strategic role in guiding Financial Crimes Risk Management’s responsibilities as a data and application owner under the Company’s data management policy. The role will oversee a team that provides oversight of financial crimes data use cases and provide relevant metrics and reporting to appropriate governance committees.In this role, you will:

Develop and maintain FCRM oversight of financial crimes data uses.

Review and provide reporting on data defects related to financial crimes data use cases.

Partner with impacted and remediation parties as necessary to perform root-cause analysis, assess impact, and determine ownership of data defects related to financials crime data use cases.

Produce metrics on financial crimes data use cases, including data defects.

Provide guidance on data-related controls and procedures for financials crimes data use case owners and application business owners.

Develop framework for identifying critical data elements across various data use cases.

Understand the whole of data management risk for FCRM, including effective onboarding, source expansion, data violations, and ongoing remediation efforts.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

4+ years of Management experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Expert level experience with Data architecture.

Experience leading Data remediation across multiple data use cases.

Experience creating and maintaining Data policy, governance, and controls.

Strong project planning with demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams though significant change.

Deep expertise in Domain-driven design.

Extensive Financial Institution experience strongly desired.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-quantitative colleagues in a concise and clear fashion.

Experience building relationships across lines of businesses, influencing partners, as well as providing credible and effective challenge.

Proven success recruiting, inspiring, developing, coaching and motivating team members through balanced leadership with a focus on team member engagement and retention and performance management.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
