Star Equipment has an immediate opening for a shop clerk in our Waterloo facility. In this position you can utilize your computer skills, mechanical knowledge, and office skills on a daily basis to help our customers solve problems.
Your job responsibilities will consist of;
1. Writing Work Orders for equipment brought in for repair
2. Posting Technicians daily time, matching to equipment work orders
3. Locating parts, writing purchase orders
4. Process warranty claims, coordinating with our manufacturers
5. Receive warranty parts from our branches, process for return to manufacturer
6. Coordinate service information between all departments and branches, and customers
7. Work with parts and rental customers
You will need to have the following qualifications;
Office experience; computer, 10 key calculator, Microsoft Word and Excel
Outgoing Personality and Pride in your work
Mechanical Aptitude
Construction Experience
Good Telephone Skills
Ability to lift up to 100#
Clean driving record
Star Offers; Competitive Wages, Health and Accident Plan, Vacation, Sick Leave, Uniforms, Flex Spending, and a 401k plan. Work hours are between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. Occasionally Saturday 8-noon might be needed.
