Help build commercial playgrounds for city parks and public schools as well as other custom projects.
TYPICAL JOB TASKS
- Outdoor construction & labor
- Measure layout
- Dig footings
- Assemble decks, climbers, slides etc.
- Read plans
- Pour concrete footings
- Install drainage
- Sidewalk and concrete boarder
- Install playground safety surfacing
- Fine grading and seeding
REQUIREMENTS
- Understanding of general hardware, measurements, power tools, or hand tools
- Lift 80 lbs.
- Able to follow a list of directions, driven to learn, positive, problem solver, personable, well kept appearance
- Driver’s license
- Work boots or equivalent
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Operate skid loader: bucket, forks, auger, boom lift or other heavy machinery
- Experience in other trades such as carpentry, concrete, or painting
TRAVEL
- Some travel required
- Advance notice always given
- Possible flexibility
- Hotel room and $50 per-day-meal provided
- Paid drive time
EMPLOYMENT & BENEFITS
- Starting wage of $18/hr to $26/hr (W-2). Pay rate based on work ethic, related experience, job abilities
