This position is part of the Quote & Order Administration Team located in Coralville, Iowa and will be on-site. At IDT, we are one global team. Gather customer requirements to determine the corresponding product offering and services required for processing and configure customer orders using IDT systems and tools to generate accurate quotation documents and order records

Validate configurable orders and contact customers to clarify requirements or handle order exceptions

Determine lead time and availability for custom configurations and attain and document necessary approvals using resources and consultations with key stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, Sales

Answer and document inbound and outbound customer interactions and inquiries received by phone, email, or chat in IDT’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database

Contribute to team productivity through participation in Daily Management, development of knowledge resources, and achievement of targets for accuracy and responsiveness

The essential requirements of the job include:

High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience

At least 1 year of experience in the Genomics or Life Sciences Field or customer facing experience or IDT related experience

​ It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in life science (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry)

Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS) with basic understanding of differences between ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications as it relates to manufacturing processes and change controls

Demonstrated ability to assess processes and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement

Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and using critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to adjust rules and processes for individual situations, and escalate complex problems as needed
